Kellie from Live Happier Photography was amazing. First and foremost, she was able to accommodate a last-minute elopement, with about five days' notice. She was incredibly communicative, willing to assist with anything wedding-related. The day of the wedding she was so pleasant! She came in early and on her own started photographing details and action shots prior to the ceremony. She even offered drone pictures, setting up her drone while outside in the middle of a rainstorm. The wedding was in the middle of the afternoon, in the blistering heat. We were all drenched in sweat, but she didn't complain. Finally, the pictures turned out better than I ever thought they would! Thank you so much!

What should I ask my destination wedding photographer?

  • Destination weddings are ones where the couple gets married away from their hometown. Asheville, North Carolina is a popular location to get married, and we have shot couples from all over the world who travel to tie the knot!

  • The destination package was designed for smaller weddings with less guests, because in the past that was most common. Generally if you have more than 40 guests or your day is spread over more than 4 hours then we suggest getting one of our larger packages for your wedding. Click here for additional packages.

  • Don’t wait! Wedding dates book up quickly! Most people book their wedding photography around 9 months in advance, sometimes more in the popular months.

  • Great! Just reach out and let us know you want to reserve your date. We'll send out a list of questions we'll need you to answer and then put a contract together. Once you've ready it over and are happy we ask for a 50% deposit to reserve the date. Its just that easy.
